Terms of Service

Effective date: July 27, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FFU Bot (“FFU Bot” or the “Bot”), a Discord bot, including all commands, features, and any associated dashboard. By adding the Bot to a Discord server (“Server”) or otherwise interacting with it, you (“User”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

1. Eligibility

You must meet Discord’s own minimum age requirement (currently 13 years old, or higher where required by local law) and comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times while using the Bot.

2. Description of Service

The Bot provides community and gaming utilities, including but not limited to: nation reservation and signup systems for Hearts of Iron IV games, team balancing, player statistics tracking, game history logging, industrial-capacity graphing, and miscellaneous utility/fun commands. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without prior notice.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the Bot, you agree not to:

  • Use the Bot to violate any applicable law or Discord’s Terms of Service/Community Guidelines.
  • Attempt to abuse, exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Bot’s normal operation (e.g. spamming commands, attempting to overload or crash the Bot).
  • Use the Bot to harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Bot’s underlying systems, data, or source code beyond what is publicly available.

4. Server Administrators

Server administrators who install the Bot are responsible for configuring role/channel permissions appropriately and for how their members use the Bot within their Server. Some commands are restricted to users with Administrator permission (or an explicit bot-owner bypass) as noted in the Commands & Features page.

5. Availability & “As Is” Disclaimer

The Bot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability. The Bot may be taken offline for maintenance, updates, or for reasons outside of our control (including Discord API outages).

6. Data & Privacy

Use of the Bot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data is processed and why.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Bot’s developers/operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Bot.

8. Termination & Removal

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or block access to specific users, Servers, or features at our discretion, without prior notice, particularly in cases of abuse or violation of these Terms. A Server administrator may remove the Bot from their Server at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

The Bot’s source code, branding, and associated assets remain the property of their respective owners/contributors. This documentation does not grant you any license to the Bot’s source code beyond what is explicitly stated in the project’s repository license (if any).

10. No Affiliation with Discord

The Bot is an independent, third-party application and is not created, endorsed, or sponsored by Discord Inc.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to the server/repository owner via the GitHub repository.
